Responsibilities
- Act as the ‘business owner’ across different categories and markets, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the Marketplace side of Express business.
- Must develop and execute optimal assortment strategy, pricing, promotions, range, availability, and cost prices to expand both sales and margin for each country.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure categories have the optimal selection and availability (ATP) and strategically competitive prices in the market.
- Improve coverage with the best assortment availability through replacing low-performance vendors or finding proper vendors and sign-up with them.
- Employ data-driven decision-making to drive the assortment. Provide insight to the commercial team and work closely with the supply chain to supply high demand and low stock products for vendors.
- Lead negotiation with vendors to get proper deals based on insights to improve share in campaigns.
- Define high-demand shopping lists based on vendors' capabilities to show on vendor's pages to increase conversion rate and sales.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience in sales management.
- Superb business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management.
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills. Proficiency in working with data.
- Great communication skills (both oral and written) are a must.
- Mastery of MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) is a must.
- e-commerce background is preferred
- Familiar with Turkish language
