About this role
As a Software Test Engineer, you’re daily struggling with testing newly developed and fixed bugs of previous features. This includes creating, enhancing, and executing test cases which makes you sure that the feature would not make an issue on the production environment. You perform a key role in the continuous delivery of the product.

Responsibilities
• Work closely with the team to improve test automation framework and integrate it close to developer frameworks and continuous delivery
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
• Find potential bugs and report existing issues and bugs to developers and track bugs

Requirements
• Good knowledge of the basics of software testing
• Minimum of 2-years of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile environment
• Strong analytical view with a problem-solving attitude
• Teamwork skills including communication skills and task management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Quick learner, with a willingness to dive in and learn everything required
• Experience in designing efficient test cases and working with test management tools like TestRail
• Familiar with concepts of web-based applications and APIs
• Familiar with API testing tools like Postman, etc.
• Strong software debugging skills

Nice to have
• ISTQB Certificate
• Familiarity with Git
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell Script
• Experience with the concepts of test automation and its relevant tools (Selenium, Appium, Katalon, Robot framework, etc.)
• Familiarity with Cucumber and BDD
• Experience with non-functional testing tools such as Apache JMeter, AppDynamics, locust, k6, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD tools to create pipelines to run your tests and deploy applications is a plus
