Job Description
• Assisting the manager in the consolidation process of 20+ legal entities and complying with the recognition, measurement, and disclosure requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial reports.
• Participating in month-end closing reviews of businesses to ensure all balances have been accurately reconciled & appropriately classified under IFRS.
• Participating in analyzing & reviewing Investor’s presentations & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of ventures.
• Developing and maintaining data gathering and reporting templates to ease aggregation and consolidation of financial and non-financial reports.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Assisting the manager to coordinate with group and component auditors to ensure a clean and timely interim and year-end audit.
• Assisting the manager in maintaining accounting and financial reporting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Participating in the process to write, implement and ensure effective and practical implementation of financial reporting policies & procedures.
• Automate and suggest improvements to processes for accuracy and time-saving.
• Follow up on improvement initiatives and ensure delivery.
• Any other financial reporting-related ad-hoc projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of other areas of business e.g., marketing and operations, … .
• Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks.
• Excellent project management skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, Management, Industrial Engineering.
• International Professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA/CPA/ACMA will be preferred.
• One to three years post-qualification & relevant experience in top-tier organizations.
• Experience in Audit top tier firms is a plus.
• An excellent knowledge of IFRS is required combined with the ability to research and propose organization positions on complex accounting issues.
• Knowledge of business analysis and Product analysis.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficient in financial software is preferred (Oracle, SAP ,…).
• Excellent English communication; both oral and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to cope with stress and uncertainty.
