- Work to achieve sales targets (order, NMV, vendor discount, coverage, vendor CR) by tier/ city/ category/ business line
- track and analyze vendor/ area reports, understand reasons for deviation from target, and take action to minimize the impact
- have updated insight about retail margins and prepare field pricing reports to ensure price competitiveness vs. offline
- Develop a strong relationship with vendors and conduct deal negotiation to improve vendor contribution and deal conversion
- conduct regular field visits daily of vendors in the assigned area to understand vendor requirements and enhance sales performance
- Ensure the availability of products (ATP on sub-cat level) and work to enhance assortment score
- Generate revenue through the selling of pins and vouchers
- identify assortment enhancement opportunities and work to implement them
- Collect market insights on competitors’ activities and offers (commissions, expansion plan) to vendors and share with line manager for decision making
- Improve vendor liquidity based on area potential, nearby vendors, and revenue objectives
- Evaluate and classify vendors based on sales performance and growth, determine action list for improvement, replacement, or expansion to ensure coverage as well as vendor diversity for users
- Review sales performance of current vendors and define a standard set of requirements for onboarding of new vendors per city/ marketing area, revise as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business/ economics or related fields
- Minimum 3 years in FMCG retail
- Good understanding of retailers’ concerns and business perspective
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Result-focused team player
