Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced software engineer to lead our Delivery team. You will play a key role in driving the success of our engineering team by providing leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise. As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for managing, and developing a high-performing team. You will also be instrumental in designing and implementing our microservices architecture, spearheading the rewrite of a legacy Python project to Golang, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology stack that includes Python, Golang, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, MySQL, and Redis.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement microservices architecture.
• Champion the rewrite of a legacy Python project to Golang, ensuring a smooth transition and code quality.
• Manage technical roadmaps and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices within the engineering domain.


Requirements:

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering leadership.
• Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Proven track record of hiring and developing top talent.
• Solid understanding of Golang or Python (experience with both a plus).
• Experience with designing and implementing complex software systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
