Support Active Directory, Exchange and 3rd party applications
Perform server maintenance, including patching OS and software
Ability to build and deploy new servers in a VMware environment
Deploying and supporting SQL DB applications
Deploying and supporting Antivirus, DLP, Disk Encryption systems, Symantec, and Sophos
Provide friendly support to internal team members and end users
Completing work tickets in a timely manner that include day-to-day problems occurring in OS or applications
Has a good understanding of security best practices and actively reviews and works to improve them
Regularly works with the security team to perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly tasks as needed
Work with IT staff to successfully perform yearly DR testing
Monitors systems for operational uptime and responds to downtime events

Skills and Experience:

5+ years hands-on experience in network computer environment establishing and troubleshooting issues on Windows Systems and Windows-based Applications
Experience with enterprise level administration tools to manage and monitor a robust Windows environment;
Experience with virtual environments VMware vSphere
Experience creating and maintaining server scripts to perform routine maintenance tasks
Experience with Windows authentication processes
Experience with Windows – AD / Federated-Services
Experience with DB applications, deployment, and support
Experience with Windows Servers and configurations such as IIS
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
Ability to implement and troubleshoot applications changes and modifications
Ability to analyze and interpret information systems proposals, and to evaluate and develop alternative implementation plans
Ability to learn new technologies
Adheres to patient and physician privacy and confidentiality regulations
Understand and set up backup strategies
In-depth understanding of security and permission controls via Active Directory and windows file system including DFS
Demonstrated use of common tools – MS-office and project tools (Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Access, Outlook)
Able to work individually or in a team environment
Detail oriented, documentation oriented, process oriented
