Responsibilities:
- Grow, lead and inspire a team of software developers to build and maintain our Software product
- Participate in full Software development life cycle, system architecture, design pattern, deployment, and code review
- Ensure high quality of work delivered by development team
- Work effectively with Product Manager/Product Owner to prioritize and plan software deliveries including sprint and release planning, product backlog maintenance and refinement
- Track and report progress of the project against key milestones and keep stakeholders updated
- Play an active role in the transformation of legacy Core applications
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience in managing or leading an agile software development team
- Solid object-oriented programming using Java
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, jQuery or NodeJS
- Deep understanding of software engineering practices, object oriented analysis & design, design patterns and algorithms
- Experience with SQL and non-SQL databases such as MySQL, Redis
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration, Delivery and Deployment best practices
- Experience in building scalable systems with service oriented or microservice architectures
- Video streaming/communication Industry experience
- Experience in DeVops
