Sheypoor is seeking an accomplished Senior Data Engineer who can bring their expertise in data warehousing, data pipeline creation/support, and analytical reporting skills to provide actionable data solutions to the business. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will involve collaboration between team members, departments, and business stakeholders. This role will be involved from end to end to bring solutions to democratize our data while providing the needed governance and transparency to make sure data sources are comprehensible, accurate, and timely.

- BS in computer science, engineering, or similar technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of work experience in Java, Golang, or Python
Experience with Kafka/Pub-Sub
Experience with Data Transformation
Experience in designing and developing solutions following "best practices" within a large/complex environment
Experienced with stream processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Beam, Apache Storm, etc.
Strong SQL, Python, and performance tuning skills
Capable of logical and physical database design, development, analysis, architecture, and modeling
Experience in architecting multi-tier, distributed database applications
Passionate about, Data, Big Data, and ML-learning new technologies
Experience in designing and developing large-scale applications utilizing Big Data technologies
You will have a good sense of engineering trade-offs, with an ability to understand the impact of software changes on extendibility, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
