Shavaz, an online cosmetics store that is expanding into a full market place, is looking for a talented and experienced DBa to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage our MySQL databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security
  • Monitor database performance, implement improvements, and scale resources to meet demand
  • Develop and optimize database design for new applications
  • Ensure data integrity and recovery through regular backups and replication strategies
  • Work closely with our development team to integrate databases with business applications
  • Provide guidance on database management, optimization, and best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with a strong focus on MySQL
  • Solid understanding of database management, design, and development principles
  • Experience with database technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redis is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
