Shavaz is on the hunt for a "Scrum Master " with a unique blend of agile leadership and programming insight, particularly in PHP, to steer our Product and Tech teams through the sprint processes. This role is designed for a visionary who understands the nuts and bolts of software development and can facilitate our journey towards excellence in project delivery.
Your Mission:
- Lead daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings with efficiency and purpose.
- Master the use of Jira for comprehensive sprint planning, tracking, and performance reporting.
- Implement Scrum methodologies to enhance team productivity and project delivery outcomes.
- Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress, fostering a culture of achievement and momentum.
- Encourage open communication, collaborative problem-solving, and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Tech Leads to ensure alignment of vision, priorities, and execution strategies.
- Mentor and coach the team in Agile practices, with an emphasis on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for a balanced approach to project management that incorporates both agile flexibility and a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, particularly in PHP.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Solid experience in a Scrum Master role within Agile teams, backed by a strong foundation in software development principles.
- Proficiency in Jira, with the skill to tailor its functionalities to match team and project needs.
- A strategic understanding of the Scrum framework and agile methodologies, enriched by practical insights into programming challenges and solutions.
- Exceptional leadership qualities, including facilitation, negotiation, and the ability to inspire and guide teams towards excellence.
- Effective communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with PHP and a general vision for programming that enables productive dialogues with technical team members.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or similar) is preferred.
