Proven commercial Android development experience
• Fluency in Kotlin, Java and Android SDK
• Experience across the full development lifecycle of native Android apps
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Understands Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and solid programming skills
• Familiarity with Clean Codes and Architecture
• Experience with MVVM, MVP, Dagger, JetPack architectural design pattern
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming using RxJava or Kotlin coroutine UI thread and background thread
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban
• Agile Tooling – Jira, Confluence
Optional Requirements:
• Knowledge of testing methods, including unit, integration and ui tests,
• Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins)
Non-technical attributes:
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team player who is willing to go above and beyond
