Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications using Golang, focusing on optimizing and scaling backend systems for high performance and reliability.
2. Work with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to integrate backend services with other web services and interfaces.
3. Apply strong problem-solving skills to address software bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
4. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge-sharing and skill enhancement.
5. Build and optimize data models in postgres to efficiently handle complex data structures and high volumes of data.
6.Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices in software development.
Required Familiarity
• Deep understanding of Go programming, its syntax, paradigms, constructs, and effective practices.
• Familiarity with concurrent programming in Go.
• Knowledge of Go templating, common frameworks, and tools.
• Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Ability to debug and optimize Go code for high performance and scalability.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on building scalable and robust microservices using Go.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with postgres for data storage and retrieval.
• Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and experience in building and consuming APIs.
• Familiarity with gRPC and protobuf is a plus.
