We are looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst to turn business data into actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
You will work closely with Business, Product, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to identify business opportunities, analyze performance, build analytical models, and translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance and identify key growth opportunities and business risks.
- Develop and monitor business KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of revenue, customer behavior, conversion, retention, and operational performance.
- Build business models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
- Translate business questions into analytical problems and actionable insights.
- Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes.
- Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams on data-driven initiatives.
- Evaluate business initiatives and measure their impact using quantitative analysis.
- Establish and improve data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and financial/business performance analysis.
- Experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, and business modeling.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong business mindset.
