Responsibilities:

Assist ‌software‌ ‌developers‌ ‌with‌ ‌database‌ ‌operations‌ ‌including‌ ‌the‌ ‌development‌ ‌of‌ complex‌ ‌SQL, ‌tuning‌ ‌of‌ ‌DML‌ ‌and‌ ‌the‌ ‌creation‌ ‌of‌ ‌stored‌ ‌procedures
Install and configure new Microsoft SQL Server instances, including AlwaysOn availability groups and failover clustering ‌
Troubleshoot Performance Issues (Database Settings, Optimizing queries, Altering Indexes, ETL Development, etc.)
Monitor ‌maintain‌ ‌database‌ ‌systems‌ and‌ ‌troubleshoot‌ ‌problems‌ ‌that‌ ‌may‌ ‌arise
Create Users and Assign Database Permissions
Index management to improve data retrieval performance
Schedule and monitor daily jobs relating to data transfers, backup and recovery, transaction log dumps

Requirements:

BSC in Computer Science, Engineering in advantage
Deep understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
2+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
Strong understanding of Database Design and T-SQL
Familiarity with Data Warehouse design
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization, using troubleshooting tools
Familiarity with In-Memory OLTP
Proficient in the implementation of ETL data and SSIS tools
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
