We are a dynamic and rapidly growing tech company at the forefront of the VOD streaming industry. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the robust backend infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge VOD streaming platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and contribute to the development of a platform that reaches millions of users.




Responsibilities:


  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions for our VOD streaming platform.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimizing and improving the performance of existing backend systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Identifying and addressing technical debt and other development inefficiencies.
  • Implementing best practices for security, data protection, and privacy in the development process.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in Python development.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Experience in developing and deploying large-scale, high-traffic applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in the streaming media or entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
