We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Node.js + Postgres) who can take a major role within the startup. Working directly with the CTO, the candidate would be responsible for architecting the backend, would be doing the heavy lifting with the programming & software development work to create the backend, and would be responsible for the operations of the backend.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience with backend development
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Proficient in using Git as a control system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:
- Experience with banking APIs
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Experience creating fault-tolerant systems
- Experience building software systems from scratch
