As a Computer Vision Engineer on our team, you will apply your knowledge to develop and maintain Computer Vision algorithms supporting a variety of tasks related to landmark detection and classification as well as machine learning data processing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Work with other Computer Vision and Machine Learning engineers on high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to problems in the fields of smart agriculture.
- Develop new data acquisition, data processing, and machine learning pipelines
- Research and development of computer vision and ML algorithms
- Develop custom landmark detection and object detection models
- Design custom Neural Network-based and classical machine learning-based (KNN, SVM, DT, Random Forest) classification models
- Developing, maintaining, and testing features for new and existing applications
- Training and hyper-parameter tuning for classification and landmark detection models
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Prepare required technical documents
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Master's degree or above in computer science or software/computer/electrical engineering or related fields
- Strong coding and programming skills in Python plus maintain high coding standards (Please share your GitHub/GitLab if available)
- 3+ years experience in applying computer vision and deep learning methods in the industry.
- Experienced with Machine Learning / Computer Vision libraries (OpenCV, Numpy, SciKit, Scipy)
- Extensive practical experience with modern deep learning frameworks (Pytorch or Tensorflow)
- Mastery of classical machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, data preprocessing.
- Experience with classic image processing and computer vision
- Experience in launching and running Python scripts on Linux and Cloud servers
- Familiarity with imaging techniques and depth map estimation is an asset
- Ideally, you will have a basic understanding of Linux, Git, Cuda, and GPU
- Understanding and developing APIs in a microservice architecture (FastAPI, Docker, PyTest)
- Familiarity with Agile software development management is an asset
- Proficiency in English (Reading and Writing) (Having related published papers in English is an asset)
- Presentation skills in English
- Team working mindset is essential
- After-hours work may be required
