Senior Java Backend Developer

We’re hiring an experienced senior Java developer who still loves writing code. Your deep Java and Spring expertise is what matters most. You’ll design, build, test, and ship backend features yourself, and you’ll use AI coding agents to work faster while keeping quality high. 

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain backend services with Java and Spring Boot
  • Own features from requirements to production
  • Code with AI agents to speed up implementation, testing, and debugging
  • Join design discussions and code reviews
  • Debug production issues and improve performance
What we need

  • 5+ years of professional Java backend experience, with recent hands-on coding
  • Strong Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, REST, and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Solid grasp of transactions, concurrency, design patterns, and system design
  • Experience coding with AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to deliver real features
  • Ability to review, test, and fix AI-generated code, and take full ownership of it
  • Git, CI/CD, and production experience
  • Available full-time within two weeks
Nice to have: RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, fintech/payments experience
