We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform to join our team! An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team. Someone that values the “team” and maximizes the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, as well as automating our deployment process. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting our systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with teams to make deployments more Rapid, Reliable, Repeatable and Reproducible
- Work to enable and support teams rather than provide a service – creating a self-service model of deployment and operations rather than building a dependency
- Ensure governance processes are maintained, fit-for-purpose and adhered to
- Build and maintain an integrated environment among Bitbucket, Jira, Teams, and GCP
- Write and maintain related documents
Basic Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields is desired
- 3+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of professional experience with GCP
- Ability to independently define technical solutions and implement best practices
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Ability to write and maintain shell scripts
- Comfortable with Python and Node.js
