In Quiz of Kings, we handle +100k online daily users using an infrastructure including different databases like MongoDB, Vitess, Redis, ClickHouse, and Postgress and on-edge technologies such as K8S, private cloud management, etc. In the SRE team, we need a fresh junior member to join and help us maintain this system. Your tasks are going to get more serious throughout your progress in the onboarding process. If you have experience in DevOps and worked with various technologies, don't hesitate to apply for this job.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with queue management services (Rabbitmq, ...)
- Familiarity with HAproxy and its capabilities
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and log collection services
- Familiar with scripting and programming languages (Python - Bash - Golang, ...)
- Familiar with scalable storage management tools (Glusterfs, ...)
- Familiar with Kubernetes
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (Gitlab-ci, ...)
- Work experience with one of the virtualization tools (kvm)
- Proficient in containerization tools (Docker)
- Proficient in Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Cent OS) (LPIC 2)
- Proficient in NETWORK+ topics
- Experience working with sql based and no-sql databases(mariadb, mongodb, redis,...)
- Experience in working with ansible and automation tools
Responsibilities:
1) Fixing CI/CD issues raised by SWE and LiveOps
2) Maintaining Gitlab CI component (Eg: Gitlab runner, harbor registry...)
3) Fixing K8S resource issues raided by SWE, CRM, and LiveOps (CrashLoopBackOff,...)
4) Data Warehouse Ownership (Long Term Assignment)
5) Incident Management (Presence & Cooperation required)
6) Setup and maintenance of tools and services
7) Setup and maintain new databases (MongoDB, Redis, SQL-based DBs)
8) RCA and follow up on issues raised by CRM
9) Setup and maintain monitoring components (Grafana, Prometheus, Exporter,...)
10) Setup and maintain log shipping components (Graylog, SysLog, Data Node,...)
11) Maintain and manage resources on physical servers and virtual machines
12) Provision virtual machines using kvm and qemo
13) Monitor service and application quality
14) Update and upgrade outdated or vulnerable services
15) Automating services and tasks using Ansible and bash scripts
