شرح موقعیت شغلی

The Data chapter sits within Toman’s Growth and Strategy team and handles data analysis needs across the company’s different business lines. B2B Line covers the range of services Toman offers to B-side customers (corporate banking, exchange services, and similar). As the Data Analyst, you’ll be responsible for turning raw data into insight and solutions for the varied business problems faced by the product, growth and GTM teams working on this line.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze B2B Line performance data (partner growth, transactions, activation, churn, etc.) and translate it into actionable insight for related teams.
  • Design and maintain dashboards for tracking the line’s key metrics.
  • Work closely with the product owner and business stakeholders of B2B Line to define analytical questions and testable hypotheses.
  • Write and optimize data analysis queries against production/analytics databases to answer ad-hoc and recurring business questions.
  • Use data analysis tools for deeper analysis, automation of recurring reports, and data quality checks.
  • Partner with engineering to flag and help resolve data quality/pipeline issues affecting B2B Line reporting.
  • Proactively identify data-driven opportunities and risks for B2B Line, not just respond to ad-hoc requests.
  • Maintain clear documentation of key metrics and definitions to ensure a single source of truth across teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, decision-oriented way.
 
Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst role.
  • Strong SQL skills (comfortable writing complex queries, joins, window functions).
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis (pandas, etc.).
  • Experience with a BI tool (Metabase, Power BI, or similar).
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis.
  • Good communication skills — able to explain data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fintech or banking industry experience is a plus.
 
Nice to have:

  • Experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks. 
  • Basic understanding of financial/banking product metrics (e.g., transaction volume, activation funnels).
  • Experience with version control (Git) for analysis scripts.
  • Persian and English fluency for stakeholder communication.
