About the Role

We are looking for a Business Developer - Embedded Finance (platform Discovery) who will identify and evaluate platforms, SaaS products, marketplaces, and software companies that can generate significant revenue by embedding our financial infrastructure into their products.

This is not a traditional sales role. The focus is on discovering high-value partnership opportunities, analyzing their revenue potential, and building a qualified pipeline for the leadership team to close.


What You Will Do:


1. Identify High-Value Platforms

Research and map companies that could benefit from embedded finance, including:

  • SaaS platforms (ERP, CRM, HR, accounting, invoicing)
  • Marketplaces
  • E-commerce platforms
  • Payroll and workforce platforms
  • Logistics and mobility platforms
  • Industry-specific software (vertical SaaS)

2. Evaluate Revenue Potential

For each platform, assess:

  • Transaction volume and payment flows
  • Monetization model (how they currently make money)
  • Opportunities to add financial services revenue
  • Estimated revenue uplift from embedded finance
  • Strategic fit with our infrastructure
You should be able to answer:

“How can this platform make more money by embedding our product?”


3. Build a Prioritized Partner Pipeline

Create structured lists of:

  • High-priority targets (fast + high revenue potential)
  • Medium-term opportunities
  • Strategic long-term ecosystem plays
Each entry should include:

  • Company overview
  • Product and business model
  • Decision makers (C-level / Product / Partnerships)
  • Revenue hypothesis
  • Integration complexity estimate

4. Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Track trends in embedded finance
  • Monitor competitor partnerships and launches
  • Identify emerging platforms and ecosystems
  • Spot underserved verticals

5. Support Outreach Preparation

Prepare for leadership to engage by:

  • Creating partner briefs
  • Identifying key stakeholders
  • Drafting value propositions per platform
  • Summarizing integration opportunities

What Success Looks Like

You succeed when leadership has:

  • A clear list of high-value platforms to approach
  • Strong data-backed reasoning for each opportunity
  • A predictable pipeline of embedded finance partnerships
  • Clear understanding of “where money can be made”


Required Skills:

Must-Have:

  • Strong business development mindset
  • Ability to understand fintech / SaaS business models
  • Research and analytical thinking
  • Understanding of APIs and digital platforms (basic level)
  • Ability to structure insights clearly

Strong Plus:

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or payments
  • Understanding of embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service, or payment systems
  • Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills
