Our team drives a state-of-the-art, open-source based project bringing reliable, scalable, ACID transactions to Apache Spark and other Big Data engines. Our mission is to create a robust and performant service that enables the ingestion of massive data volumes from business users and entities. As part of the SDE team, you have the opportunity to solve problems of enterprises transitioning from on-prem data centers to cloud-based computation.
Details of Responsibilities
- Build the core features that make scalable, micro-service oriented services that help the enterprises to route their data to Cloud
- Work with our excellent product managers to understand and solve the infrastructure, security, and data management needs of our customers.
- Develop well-tested production-ready software that can handle the large volume of data and the unique scalability requirements of the biggest enterprises.
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their real-world use cases.
- Experience with distributed systems, databases, and big data systems.
- Experience in Microservice Architecture
- Experience in low-level programming languages like C/C++ and high-level scripting languages like Python
- Excellent problem analysis and solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- BS in Computer Science, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
