Responsibilities
- Analyze the local market and identify new partnership opportunities to unlock new revenue streams or increase the revenue of existing streams
- Prepare an achievable and realistic merchant/partner acquisition plan and acquire largescale brands
- Negotiate partnership models and contracts to maximize our growth and close mutually beneficial deals in the shortest period
- Initiate the negotiation, close the deal, and maintain a healthy B2B relationship with partners
- Work hand in hand with our internal marketing/product/operation teams to coordinate the operating model of partnerships
- Prepare and present proposals to both internal management teams as well as external partners
- Develop market research and main competitor analysis report to better support management decision-making.
- Deliver high-quality weekly and monthly reports
- Handle a high volume of partner interactions and engagements and answer partners’ questions about contract terms, technical issues, and availability
Qualifications
- Must have exceptional negotiation skills
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- 2 – 3 years of experience working on a Business Development Team
- Analytical mindset, with a strong understanding of competitive and industry analysis to provide market intelligence and competitive benchmarking
- Familiar with the banking, lending, and FinTech sectors
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
