Responsibilities
- Operation vulnerability management and patching policies.
- Maintain and monitor various security technologies (Firewall, Encryption, HIPS, AV, Proxy, IPS, Patch Management etc).
- Identify potential risks, analyze new security solutions and develop approaches to mitigate identified issues and work with IT team to implement recommendations.
- Play a key role in the security incident response process.
- Design, evaluation, implementation and deployment of new security technologies.
- Configure and troubleshoot security tools and infrastructure security devices when necessary.
- Investigate security breaches with the SOC team and respond to incident by including steps to minimize the impact followed by a technical and forensic investigation into how the breach happened and the extent of the damage.
Requirements
- With hands-on experience on setup, installation and configuration of any of the following security technologies: Firewall/VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF, Anti-DDoS, NAC, EDR/EPP, NDR, DRM, DLP, 2FA, PAM, SIEM, SOAR, etc.
- Broad familiarity with Security Engineering and Operations topics that affects infrastructure, including but not limited to Network, Endpoint and Cloud Security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Security Information & Event Management, Key Management, Data Encryption & Tokenization.
- Proven technical skills and/or knowledge of IT Security Infrastructure.
- Substantial knowledge of the Linux operating system.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking and routing.
- Implementation, management and support of Proxy Servers.
- Expert knowledge in industry standards, risk regulations, guidelines and best practices.
- Detailed technical knowledge of infrastructure and endpoint security.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security is a plus
