About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, implementation, and evolution of comprehensive design systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of design components.
• Establish and maintain design guidelines and standards for brand consistency.
• Oversee the documentation of design patterns, components, and usage guidelines.
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and iterate design systems based on user feedback and evolving product needs.
• Stay informed about design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Design System Manager with a portfolio showcasing successful design system implementations.
• In-depth understanding of design principles, visual hierarchy, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Proficiency in design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining design systems for complex digital products.
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts is advantageous.
