We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Junior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience in managing large-scale systems, and contribute to the stability and performance of our services. As an Site Reliability Engineer, you will learn the ins and outs of monitoring, automation, and incident response, while also assisting in improving the reliability of our infrastructure. Please note that this role requires 24/7 availability, and you will be expected to work in rotating shifts to ensure continuous monitoring and support of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:

- System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring the health, performance, and reliability of our systems using various tools and dashboards.
- Incident Response: Support the team in responding to incidents and outages, participating in root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Automation: Contribute to automating repetitive tasks, including deployments, backups, and system checks, to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Learn and assist with managing infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Performance Tuning: Help in identifying bottlenecks and optimizing the performance of systems and applications.
- Documentation: Document processes, playbooks, and system architectures to enhance team knowledge sharing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is desirable.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
