We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to produce and implement functional software solutions. You will work as part of a team to solve a really high throughput problem with low latency. In this role, you should be able to work independently with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. If you also have hands-on experience in software development and agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Identify and analyze user requirement
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- Experience in software development and coding in any of languages (Java, Go, C#, .NET, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Familiarity with scalable software solutions and architectures (Actor model, akka, Microservice architecture, etc)
- In-depth knowledge of Concurrent programming, issues and solutions
- A technical mindset with great attention to details
- Problem-solving abilities
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Plus points:
- Familiarity with Fintech domain
- Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools
- Familiarity with large scale data processing tools
