Responsibilities:
- Identify, report, and track software issues and defects.
- Performing manual testing to identify bugs or errors in functionality
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and documentation about test results.
- Analyze user stories and technical specifications to ensure clear understanding and accurate test coverage.
- Work closely with Tech and Product team to identify system requirements.
- Communicate effectively about test progress, test results, and any issues encountered during testing.
- Prepare test reports and summaries for review by PM and CTO.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a QA role.
- Expert in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Expert in Functional and non-functional testing.
- Strong analytical skills with high level of attention to detail
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with automated testing and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Willingness to learn automated testing tools is a plus.
