Our team need someone with these qualifications to join us as a Category Specialist:
Requirement:
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to translate commercial initiatives into quantifiable measurable performance.
- Time management.
- Knowledge of E-commerce industry or B2C Sales is preferred.
- 3 years experience in similar position.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibility:
- Defining and implementing the growth strategy for the category with understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
- Defining assortment priorities for category and overseeing acquisition of new vendors.
- Prepare market research report on competitors, customer activities.
- Monitor promotional trends and competitor actions by category, sub-category, and priority channels.
- Analyzing seasonal sales patterns, understanding key competitors and customer behavior.
- Working with other members of the marketing team to develop plans for product launches, campaigns, and events such as trade shows or expositions.
