استخدام Senior DevOps Engineer

شرح موقعیت شغلی

At Okala, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience, we’re looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.

The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering or system engineer and be familiar with any programing languages. will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.


Responsibilities:

  • Deploy updates and fixes, and provide technical support
  • Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
  • Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
  • Develop scripts to automate common problems
    Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with staff, ensuring timely communication, and driving technical issues toward closure 
  • Participate in an on-call rotation 
  • Proactive, self-starting, can-do mentality
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer
  • Deep Knowledge in Linux system management and administration
  • Outstanding scripting skills in Bash and Python
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiar with CICD tools, Gitlab-CI is preferred
  • Experienced in configuring and Automating the monitoring and alerting tools
  • Knowledge of at least one CM system like Ansible
  • Hands-On experience with networking principles (DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing etc.)
  • Experience with messaging pub/sub and Streaming messages systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka etc.)
