At Okala, we are changing the game in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, creating a new online grocery shopping experience for Iranians. Our Tech team collaborates to make it happen. we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a crucial part of our team as a QA Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables (Test Scenarios, Test Cases)
- Develop, review and execute documented test plans and test cases that ensure product quality
- Assist Product Managers and Engineers by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels and setting KPIs
- Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation of product complaints
- Develop innovative processes, and metrics that result in process improvements and team accountability
- Monitor and validate deployed software through robust test planning and execution, maintain problem logs, and report issues to managers and product developers
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Superb understanding of automation systems and databases
- Ability to contribute and direct at all levels of testing including functional, regression testing
- Ability to evaluate and lead test design and implementation
- Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
- Familiar with the test-related aspects of the software development cycle
- 3+ years of experience in software Testing
- Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
- Understanding of agile/scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
- Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman or similar tools
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with relational database like SQl Server, MySQL, etc.
- Familiar with Development Process (CI/CD)
- Familiar with QA Automation process
- Work with programming language and script such as JavaScript and python is a plus
