Responsibilities:

Design and build our continuous delivery environment
Manage our cloud deployment & configuration across production, staging, and dev/test environment servers
Develop scripts, metrics, and applications to automate and improve operational processes and availability, scaling, and security of the production environment
Become a portal of knowledge by participating in research and reflecting on your findings to communicate efficiencies, best practices and potential pitfalls/drawbacks to ensure continues improvement

Qualifications:

Solid scripting skills (e.g. Perl, Ruby, Python, dotnet core)
Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems, preferably Ubuntu
Build and release experience, Strong working knowledge of SCM tools (one of the git variant, preferably gitlab)
Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment & Orchestration - Jenkins or one of its variant
Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Virtual Box, Kubernetes)
Experience with Docker
Sound knowledge and experience in creating Kubernetes, helm/tiller based deployments
Work experience in an inherently multi-tenant SaaS CI/CD environment
Creating/managing monitoring sub-system using open source and off the shelf products
Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, grafana
Experience with security best practices in server configuration, tool development, and access controls
Development/Testing background would be an added advantage
