Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in creating business documents, conducting market and competitor research, mentoring startup founders, and establishing professional communications with incubators, organizations, and potential partners across Canada and Europe. This is a great opportunity to grow your expertise in the startup ecosystem and international business development.
Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare high-quality business documents such as:
    • Business Plans
    • Financial Projection
    • Pitch Decks
    • Market Research Reports
    • Competitive Analyses
    • Business Model/Lean Canvas
  • Conduct research on startup ecosystems, immigration programs, and market opportunities in Canada and Europe
  • Communicate with external organizations, accelerators, incubators, and potential business partners via email and phone
  • Collaborate with startup founders to understand their ideas and convert them into actionable business strategies
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to early-stage founders on business modeling, value proposition design, and go-to-market strategies
  • Assist founders in navigating validation, documentation, and investor readiness
  • Maintain organized documentation and assist in internal project tracking
Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, startup consulting, or research (internships accepted)
  • Solid understanding of business finance, including budgeting, revenue modeling, and the ability to prepare clear and realistic financial projections
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to write professional emails and business content
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, PowerPoint/Canva
  • Experience with task or project management tools (e.g. ClickUp, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of the startup ecosystem and business model design
  • Research-oriented mindset with high attention to detail
  • A self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills
Nice to Have


  • Previous experience working with startups or venture builders
  • Understanding of Canada’s Startup Visa Program or international startup immigration policies
