Nobitex is looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Engineer to work on building a Quality driven engineering culture that focuses on delivering the best experience for users across mobile and desktop, and with a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Help in building an Engineering culture that enables quality in all software feature development teams across Nobitex.
- Perform manual testing of new features
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Support colleagues with troubleshooting issues and bugs discovered during testing
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Create standards and procedures for developers to follow
- Reporting bugs and test results to the product manager or programmers for further investigation
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in the QA field.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Strong application debugging skills and ability to find the root cause of issues.
- Knowledge and experience with API testing tools like Postman
- Ability to write SQL DB queries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
- Having experience in the trading business is a plus
