 Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their objectives, requirements, constraints and translate these insights into actionable design strategies. 
• Utilize your strong design craft and expertise to create user-centered design solutions. Conduct research, gather insights, and employ a range of design methodologies to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Advocate for the user throughout the design process. 
• Conducting research and studies to uncover the everchanging user needs and goals 
• Consistent communication with design chapter lead for better alignment on your tasks, estimations, hand-off and design approval process
• Apply design thinking methodologies to develop and refine concepts. Embrace an iterative process that involves continuous feedback, prototyping, and testing with customers to validate design decisions and iterate based on insights gathered. 
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design specifications to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Use prototyping tools and techniques to validate and iterate on designs. 
• Embrace the Scrum framework and agile methodologies to deliver value with an emphasis on quality and scalability. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient collaboration and continuous improvement. 
• Effectively communicate design concepts, decisions, and rationales to stakeholders. Collaborate with teams to align on priorities, manage expectations, and drive consensus. 

 Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or similar role. 
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, visual design skills, and problem-solving capabilities. 
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite 
• Experience working in an agile development environment, preferably utilizing Scrum framework and methodologies. 
• Familiarity with web and mobile design best practices and trends. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-informed approach to decision making. 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. 
• Minimum professional working proficiency in English required.

 Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of design system principles and the ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products. 
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, allowing you to collaborate effectively with developers, contribute to front-end implementation, and ensure design integrity throughout the development process. 
• Familiarity with conducting user research studies and performing usability tests to gather insights and validate design decisions. 
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, microinteractions, and animation to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
• Previous experience designing for Android and a solid understanding of mobile app design patterns and guidelines. 
• Ability to design effective and visually appealing data visualizations that help users understand complex information and make informed decisions. 
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience designing inclusive user experiences that meet WCAG guidelines.
• Understanding of business goals, market trends, and competitive landscape, allowing you to design solutions that align with strategic objectives. 
• Familiarity with techniques such as design sprints, user story mapping, and lean experimentation, enabling you to facilitate and contribute to agile product discovery processes.
