Job description
We are looking for a product sales manager to shape the development of our products/services and successfully bring them to market. The candidate will seek the needs of our target market, direct product development with internal (Tech team for instance) and external teams (UI/UX for instance) and manage the operational, financial and marketing activities to meet expected KPIs. The candidate will also be expected to directly take part in sales and support efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out market research to understand user needs
- Analyse and react to market trends to improve the product
- Benchmark competitors
- Create product marketing strategies (pricing, distribution, promotion)
- Build up a public relations network (networking and building relationships)
- Develop a public relations media plan
- Develop a sales strategy
- Contact potential clients directly with a view to sales
- Arrange and conduct webinars to convert potential clients to sales
- Coordinate the operations of the business (development, marketing, sales)
- Onboard new clients to the product
- Provide support to clients who are having difficulties with the product
- Communicate the vision and value of the products to the sales and other internal teams and help them develop tools/methodolgies that facilitate the sales process
- Prioritize product features
- Coordinate with UX / UI designers to prepare product for coding
- Developing and executing the product business plan
- Plan and participate in the launch of products
- Lead the content and design teams to create relevant promotional material
- Work closely with sales, design, and development teams to implement strategies
- Set, measure, and evaluate KPIs
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to the customer charter
Requirements:
- Proven track record of working as a product marketing manager, brand manager, or in similar roles
- Familiar with product marketing best practices (omnichannel marketing campaigns, etc.)
- Familiar with B2B software products (SaaS knowledge is a plus)
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Hotjar, and other web analytics tools
- Problem solver with an eye for detail
- Analytical thinker with strong quantitative skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management is a plus
- Experience in strategy development, marketing management, forecasting, and ROI calculations or other related fields.
- Excellent market research skills and the ability to gain into the customers ‘ needs and experiences
- Accurate analytical skills for evaluating and discovering effective marketing strategies
- Ability to work with multi-national companies
