Job Description:
- Performs design, installation, configurations, test, deployment, backup and maintenance of Virtualized environments. (VMware products), and physical equipment such as servers, switches and storage.
- Oversee and deploy global solutions with high availability and maximum uptime.
- Develop automation opportunities in Virtualization.
- Network troubleshooting of complex issues, such as IPSec, VXLan, FWs, load balancing and DNS.
- Setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance.
- Analyzes system faults and troubleshoots and runs diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problems.
- Training of new team members.
Requirements:
- Advanced working knowledge and experience with VMware platforms.
- Experience in managing and operating large data centers.
- Strong knowledge about virtual Networks, storage, and compute layer.
- Experience in configuring, and troubleshooting HPE Servers (iLO) and Nexus switches.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and with a team
- Knowledge of Linux administration.
- Very good experience in Veeam Backup Solutions.
- Familiar with Prometheus and Zabbix monitoring systems.
- ITIL certification desirable
