The key Responsibilities:

Manage the mechanical (Cooling and Plumbing) infrastructure of the Data Centers.
Collaborate with the project team to establish new infrastructure equipment standards and operational methods for all the data centers and to ensure that existing standards are implemented.
Use the industry best practices to ensure the proper cooling analysis such as CFD analysis.
Manage the contracts related to the data center infrastructure and work directly with the contractors to ensure the timely-completion of all works.
Stay abreast of the industry trends and new technologies related to cooling, monitoring systems, and floor layout.
Propose and prototype the new standards based on new technologies.
Develop new best practices that will reduce unscheduled downtime, reliability, safety, and energy efficiency.
Design chilled water cooling system (pipe sizing, pump sizing,…).
Design direct expansion cooling system.
Design fresh air, positive pressure and exhaust system.

Key Professional Competencies:

Experienced in complex HVAC systems, megawatt DC thermal design and management.
Experience in mission critical facilities.
Familiarity with HAVC management, conditioning, and cooling technology options, costs and tradeoffs.
