We are looking for talented and experienced Concept Artists to join our team and contribute to the visual development of our game projects in the Fintech industry. As a Concept Artist, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and innovative artwork and concept art that aligns with our project vision in our game product. You will work with the Game Director and the Game Designer to define the game's art style and with the 2D and 3D Artists to implement the art. You will also be responsible for creating marketing materials for the game.
You should have a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic skills, creativity, and ability to translate concepts into captivating visual designs.
Responsibilities:
- Create concept art for games and applications.
- Work with the Game Director and the Game Designer to define the game's art style.
- Work with the 2D and 3D Artists to implement the art.
- Create marketing materials for the game
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and design goals.
- Create concept art, including characters, environments, props, and other visual elements, that capture the essence and style of the game projects.
- Develop and iterate on concept sketches, storyboards, and mood boards to communicate and refine visual ideas.
- Work closely with the Art Director and other team members to ensure consistency and coherence in visual design across different aspects of the projects.
- Research and gather references to inspire and inform your artistic decisions.
- Incorporate feedback from the team and iterate on your designs to meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in concept art techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with other artists and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in concept art.
- Excellent drawing and painting skills.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of proficiency in concept art, with a focus on characters, environments, and props.
- Proficiency in digital art software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of fundamental art principles, including composition, color theory, lighting, and perspective.
- Ability to work in different art styles and adapt to project requirements.
- Strong understanding of game development. Previous experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate your artistic ideas.
- Ability to work within project timelines and meet deadlines.
- Passion for gaming and a good understanding of game development processes.
