We’re now rebuilding our app from the ground up to deliver a faster, more modern experience and we’re looking for a Golang Developer to join our core development team.
About the Role
As a Flutter Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing the new cross-platform mobile application for Mamak. You’ll work closely with backend engineers (Golang), designers, and product managers to deliver a seamless, high-performance mobile experience for our users.
This is a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment, where flexibility, ownership, and a product-focused mindset are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Flutter mobile application for Android and iOS based on the requirements for the new application.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data services.
- Ensure smooth performance, responsiveness, and reliability across devices.
- Build clean, maintainable, and reusable code with proper documentation.
- Participate in designing intuitive user interfaces in collaboration with the design team.
- Debug and fix issues quickly, ensuring high app stability and user satisfaction.
- Work with Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to an Agile development workflow with sprints, standups, and retrospectives.
- Take ownership of features from concept to delivery and iteration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience developing cross-platform apps with Flutter and Dart.
- Proven experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play and/or App Store.
- Strong understanding of state management (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, MobX, GetX).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
- Good grasp of UI/UX principles and responsive design for various screen sizes.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Working proficiency in English (for programming, documentation, and communication).
- Ability to thrive in a startup-like environment with frequent changes and rapid iteration.
- A product mindset: care about usability, user satisfaction, and long-term maintainability.
Nice to Have
- Experience in education or edtech applications.
- Being a former Kanoon (Ghalamchi) student is a plus.
- Familiarity with backend integration (especially Golang or Firebase).
- Knowledge of CI/CD for Flutter apps and automated testing.
- Experience with app analytics, push notifications, and in-app purchases.
