Call Center Manager
The Manager of the Contact Center is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of customer support. These duties include interviewing, hiring, and training of new CSRs. Additionally, the Manager of the Contact Center will oversee CSR attendance, adherence to schedules, volume forecasting, and supervising a unit of contact center. The Manager of the Contact Center will also be analyzing Contact Center trends, including call volumes, call patterns, staff productivity and resource allocation. The Manager will ensure that the CSR’s are adhering to daily schedules, following time off procedures, and ensuring CSRs are fully efficient so the Contact Center can meet its business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Implement, manage and improve call center operations by monitoring system performance, identifying and resolving problems, and maximizing the productivity of people and technology resources.
2. Development of call center operational strategies and customer service standards by conducting needs assessments, capacity planning, identification and evaluation of technologies, and defining user needs.
3. Hires, trains and develops staff to ensure high customer service standards and department effectiveness.
4. Prepares call center performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends for both inner-department and senior management review.
5. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of fields such as operations management and business administration.
- Proficient knowledge with CS and quality improvement standards.
- 3-7 years related call center experience.
- 2-4 years related management experience.
- Proficient experience with data analyzing tools, spreadsheet, and technical software such as CRM, VOIP and performance monitoring platforms.
