Overview
at Learnova, we're focused on developing a leading English learning app tailored specifically for Persians. Our goal is to understand their unique learning challenges and provide the most effective solutions. Currently, our company is in a growth phase which includes expanding our technology team. We're seeking a talented Backend Django Developer to help us create a product that offers our learners a best-in-class experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, release, and maintain backend services and features in line with team requirements.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our team dynamics, and quality standards, and ensuring we're always shipping
- Working closely with engineering colleagues and leads to achieve sprint goals and ensure the success of each sprint.
- Documenting solutions and projects comprehensively, including technical diagrams, relevant links, and technical notes.
Requirements
- Experienced working in a startup environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of Python and Django experience.
- Proficiency in working with Redis.
- Proficiency in celery, task queuing, scheduling, and distributed processing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based storage services, especially S3.
- Experience designing, setting up, and managing databases, with knowledge of relational and non-relational approaches.
- Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs.
- Proficient in Git and understanding of branching strategies.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Agile practices, such as Kanban and Scrum.
- Strong communication skills for effectively conveying complex problems to various stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player comfortable in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of the importance of addressing technical debt and the ability to articulate its value.
