Job Description:
We are looking for a “Software Test Engineer” who is responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting to ensure that software programs work as intended.
you will be responsible for evaluating software functions and designing test protocols to ensure that products work as intended. You will also be responsible for completing all testing procedures, suggesting performance changes, and preparing performance reports for the development managers.
you should have advanced knowledge of software design and engineering and a good eye for detail. you should be able to identify even the smallest flaw in software designs and suggest simple yet effective fixes.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of debugging codes and software development languages.
- Strong background knowledge and hands-on experience on manual testing concepts and test case design techniques
- Strong testing skills in Web/Mobile (both native and web) application
- Should have the ability to create test cases, test plans, use cases, Requirement traceability matrix, defect reports
- Experience with automated testing tools such as “Appium & Selenium” or equivalent automation skills· Should have the ability to prepare test summary reports
- Should have prior experience in using popular test management and defect management tools
- Should have good communication skills and have prior experience in participating in teleconferences with clients or any other stakeholders
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Using the software as intended to analyze its functional properties.
2. Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product.
3. Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product.
4. Building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs.
5. Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly.
6. Tweaking the software testing systems for maximum performance.
7. Finalizing and documenting testing procedures.
8. Completing final tests and creating test reports.
9. Present test reports to management and suggest software fixes.
10. Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
11. Debug test failures of web services and API with the software development team to identify the root causes.
