Our engineering and product teams work hand in hand to deliver a sophisticated yet user-friendly interface, backed by a robust system of functionalities. As a DevOps Engineer at Karnameh, you will help ensure smooth deployments and actively monitor the health of our software solutions, directly impacting our users' security and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using best-in-class tools to ensure efficient deployment.
- Continuously monitor system health and logs to proactively resolve potential issues.
- Develop and maintain a robust platform that allows product teams to deploy and monitor services effortlessly.
- Design and redesign services to maintain 24/7/365 availability within strict SLAs.
- Proactively identify and mitigate security risks to maintain the highest levels of data security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-call rotation, swiftly resolving incidents in production systems.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Deep understanding of modern infrastructure stacks including Linux, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Proficient in monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD for managing scalable and reliable production services.
- Experience scripting and automating tasks using multiple programming languages.
- Bonus Points:
- Strong knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, including SDN and container networking.
- Ability to read and interpret code written in Python and Django frameworks.
