Responsibilities:
Write efficient, reusable, testable, and scalable code in Python utilizing the Django Framework
Independently break down, estimate, design, plan, and deliver small to medium-sized features
Contribute to the evolution of our tech stack by researching, advocating for, and implementing new tools, technologies, and methodologies
Design and implement tools and libraries to improve the developer experience across teams
Identify and resolve technical roadblocks in the development lifecycle, collaborating with other teams to find effective solutions
Requirements:
Expertise in Python and Django : Deep understanding and practical experience in developing applications using the Django framework. Experience with other Python web frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI is a plus
Database Knowledge : Proficiency in working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker. Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
Monitoring and Logging : Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and EFK stack
Version Control : Experience with Git, especially using GitLab
Microservice Architecture: Experience with microservice architecture and understanding its challenges
Soft Skills : Excellent communication and teamwork skills, a curious mind, and fast learning abilities
Flexibility: Ability to work effectively both independently on complex problems and collaboratively with others
