• Writing code for primary application.
• Unit-Testing and End-to-End testing of code.
• Determine time estimates to complete tasks.
• Documenting technical specifications.
• Write the application according to specifications.
• Coordinating with designers, administrators, project managers and other programmers.
• Ability to work independently and work with other team members to ensure on-time quality delivery of applications.
• Prioritizing tasks and daily activities.
• Daily stand-up meetings to review current progress and obstacles with direct team.
• Weekly meetings to review with the entire technology team.

• Good underestanding of object-oriented design, implementation, data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving
• PHP, MySQL, and Git required
• Experience with CM-based development
• Experience in general web development (academic and professional)
• Ability to craft custom applications
• Code to standards, keeping it lean and well-documented
• Work within proven QA processes to test quality of your code and the functional requirements of the project
• Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, and analytical skills
• Identify and solve ambiguous/undefined problems - ability to think abstractly
• Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature request, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines

• Ability to code PHP and Laravel by hand.
• Full life cycle software development.
• Version Control Software. (ie: Git).
• Web service development and consumption (REST, XML Feeds, and SOAP).

• Agile/Scrum software development process.
• Linux/Unix environment.
• CMS Platforms and plugins.
• Model-View-Controller paradigm & Namespaces.
