He should be familiar with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII & IX, and American Welding Society (AWS) codes. Moreover, he must have demonstrable experience in the inspection tests carried out on Pressure Parts such as Radiant and Convection Sections from 0 to 100% of the fabrication. The skills required for this position include:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Metallurgy or Welding
- Holding NDT certifications level II (PT, MT, RT, and UT)
- Being professional in Visual & Dimensional Inspection as well as conducting & interpreting NDT techniques
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Knowledgeable in painting systems used in Oil and Gas Industry
- Knowledgeable in applying and testing refractory and lining
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance priorities
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Good English knowledge
