A Start-up Online Travel Agency (BookIranTrip.com and Exotigo.com) hiring now. to complete our technical staff chart, we intend to hire the technical lead of the agency, familiar with online reservation systems and inbound tourism. We expect the candidate will be fully aware of the multiple categories of technical management in the online travel agency
- plan, organize, direct and control the operations of travel-related organizations. Co-ordinate and direct the activities of staff, overseeing not only the day-to-day tasks, but the hiring, training and evaluating of staff members as well.
Responsibilities:
- Use operations management skills, such as establishing work plans and objectives
- Manage human resources, such as hiring and training staff
- Use sales and marketing skills, such as determining potential markets
- Supervisory and monitoring all staff performance and preparing report for manager.
- Research and develop new products
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
- Proven sales and marketing abilities
- Organizational and planning skills
- Human resource management skills
- Financial management skills
- Travel management experience
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Time and risk management skills an asset
PC and Web Skills:
- Working knowledge of GDS, Travelport is an advantage
- Familiar with Online booking procedure
- Travel web services: Hotel, Flight, Bus, …
- Familiar with Web programming Http, CSS and PHP.
- Knowledge in web pages user interface.
