Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain a dynamic application, using rapid delivery within an Agile environment
· Proactively highlight improvements and actively drive changes through the development organization, independently and collaboratively
· Ensure that we have the right tests and structure in place to make sure that we can move quickly without breaking functionalities
· Write well-structured, reliable, efficient and easily maintainable code
· Troubleshoot, debug and fix issues
· Collaborate effectively, to provide and receive constructive feedback and share knowledge
Skills:
· Professional knowledge of Django and Django REST Framework
· Extensive experience building RESTful API’s with robust authorization models
· Ability to integrate with external service providers such as Authentication Providers, Monitoring and Logging, Exception Tracking, etc.
· Good grasp of authentication, custom user models, permission models, admin views
· Familiarity with SOLID principles and basic design patterns
· Great communication skills and evidence of successful collaboration with designers/analysts and backend engineers
· Knowledge of tools and strategies for testing backend services.
· English language proficient
Is a plus:
· Familiarity with Docker and PostgreSQL
